BRISBANE FESTIVAL FAMILY PROGRAM

Experience the wonderful, the wistful and the downright whimsical when Brisbane Festival’s program of family-friendly events surprise and delight audiences of all ages from 4 – 26 September.

TELL ME A STORY

Wishful Bedtime Stories: This project captures the everyday places Brisbane children wished they could go during COVID-19 restrictions. Writers, actors and sound designers create free bedtime stories from local children’s submission and release them online at 6.30pm every Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Lost Lending Library: This magical multi-floored library appears at Brisbane Powerhouse from 19 – 26 September and is never the same experience twice.

A Curious Arcade: A mysterious century-old mechanical storytelling machine shares timeless tales that surprise and delight at Brisbane Powerhouse from 19 – 26 September.

SHOW ME SOMETHING COOL

The Creatures’ Place: Dead Puppet Society presents an exclusive encounter with some giant prehistoric creatures for 8 to 12-year-olds at Brisbane City Hall on Monday 21 September.
