I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, but it started with a striking musical prelude and what followed was fast-paced and unpredictable.
I loved it.
Hayden Jones and Sam Foster were brilliant, using very clever physical theatre in an inventive and contemporary way, blurring the lines between different realities.
The character changes by way of a creative prop, and voice or accent change resulted in storytelling that was fluid and original, sweeping you up in its current and pulling you in deeper.
It evoked so many emotions as it dealt with challenging, relatable issues in today’s society.
It was sensitive and engaging, the messages timely and powerful and the ending unexpected.
