Contemporary circus acrobats Casus bring their tumbling and adagio skills blending them seamlessly with Mad Dance House’s rhythm and choreography with incredibly original results.

This high energy fast paced show is unlike anything I have seen before.

You can expect to see contortion, breakdancing, human towers and mime with what I thought was a large butoh influence.

There is even a little beautifully executed corde lisse thrown in for all the aerials fans out there.

The audience was engaged from beginning to end clapping, laughing and foot stomping along which was testament to the fact that these two troupes nailed it.

Contemporary dance may not be everyone’s cup of tea and I think you’d be hard pushed to find anyone that wouldn’t enjoy this show.

My guest for the night was gushing with praise and full of smiles too, if you can get to this show during its short run do, you won’t regret it.
