Taking over regional Queensland – visiting nearly 30 communities and travelling almost 7000 kilometres – with a celebration of opera and country music, Are You Lonesome Tonight will be the most extensive regional tour in Opera Queensland’s 40-year history.

With a cast of young Australian singers including Irena Lysiuk, Marcus Corowa and Jonathan Hickey, attendees can expect to hear arias and songs by composers such as Puccini, Slim Dusty and Dolly Parton, to name just a few.

Come in your jeans and boots or your tuxedos and ballgowns – this is opera at its more diverse, accessible and exciting.
