What’s not to like about spending a couple of hours listening to talented musicians belting out all the faves from Elton John?
The show is based on “your stories”, which relied on the performers narrating your favourite memories of Elton’s tunes.
Call me slow, but it did take me a while to cotton on to this (the lightbulb moment came when Marcus Corowa told a story about how his Dad had passed and then told a story not long after about how his parents were still rolling like thunder under the covers!).
All performers were great, but special mention to Michael Manikus on piano – you can’t have a great Elton gig without a great pianist.
Once again The Little Red Company have come up with a winner!
