Alexandra Flood and Ali McGregor’s beautiful operatic singing accompanied by the explosive masterful accompaniment of Queensland Symphony Orchestra were the perfect vessels for two promising Operas.
Both Sopranos made great use of the whole stage – really clever camera and screen use in The Call.
The Human Voice was thought-provoking in parts while The Call was a little predictable.
Being new to watching the Opera, I was glad to see the English subtitles were easy to follow and non-intrusive.
