To be completely honest I would never usually opt to watch a show in the genre (circus) so I am grateful I have stepped out my comfort zone to watch Under My Eye.

While watching the performance it can be hard to piece the many elements of the one-woman show together and make meaning of what you are watching.

The performer was very fit and talented and skilled in circus and aerobatic movements so I was impressed with her skills however the layer on top of these skills of playing with the perspective of the average person is an interesting concept introduced by the performer, her take on the world was witty and funny and to be honest a little bit all over the place.

I’d say if you are going to watch this performance go in with an open mind and prepare to be exposed to things you wouldn’t usually!
