After a slightly rocky start with the MC speaking a little too fast to be understood clearly and with so many tangents it was distracting.

This may well have been a little bout of first-night nerves.

Now that’s my only complaint out of the way.

The rest of the night was incredible, I was in awe of the skill of the aerialist and the juggler, belly laughed so very hard at the nonstop comedy and envied the costuming.

The dance routines were funny and skilled and just a delight to watch. The entire show was amazingly well produced and rehearsed until it shone like one of the many pieces of diamante on stage.

The Brief Boys with their now extended cast have simply done it again.

Never seen drag? See this!

Without giving away any spoilers the workaround for COVID restricted audience participation was nothing short of genius.

Just what the pandemic Doctor ordered.

Cirque du Soleil meets RuPaul’s Drag Race... hilariously brilliant!

As a newcomer to the wonderfully wicked world Briefs Factory, I was not sure what to expect, but damn these boys know how to put on a show!

Briefs are a group of 10 professional showstoppers, merging storytelling, circus, dance, drag and burlesque into a celebration of life and diversity.

7-foot in her heels, the glamorous Shivannah, starts the evening off with an acknowledgement of Country, and the group’s essential rules: to make some noise which we all did, and use this opportunity to connect with the people around them and revel in our differences.

A perfect primer for the awesome show that was about to follow.

Dirty Laundry is a showcase of each flamboyant cast member and their unique talents and dripping in sexy comedy.

Their bodies were incredible and attitudes fierce.

Louis kicks things off by juggling a visit to the laundromat with his burning need to striptease to Push It, Serenity took Glad Wrap to astounding new heights in a spectacular aerial display without messing the mullet, which was the highlight for me.

Nastia’s trophy-winning, gassy, gymnastics routine had me literally crying with laughter, Thomas put the audience into a ‘spin cycle’ with another incredible aerial number.

Captain Kidd burns the stage with his hula routine, Dale whipped it and whipped it good, and dancing Kween Kong closed out the show with a high energy Paula Abdul routine that left the crowd wanting more.

As the name suggests guests were asked to air their ‘dirty laundry’ on pieces of paper collected in a laundry basket and read out during the show.

This was hilarious and the raffle draw prize even funnier.

In the middle of these crazy times this show was just what I needed.

The perfect blend of ballsy, jaw-dropping physicality and glittering, intoxicating comedy.

Loved every ridiculously entertaining minute of Dirty Laundry and would highly recommend any show Briefs Factory puts on.
